Introducing Avalon Play – Social Network for Gamers

Today, MudMaNia- of Avalon Play Event Team managed to sit down to discuss with Joshua "Velhart" Dela Cruz all about these social network for gamers and various questions.

MudMaNia-: First, please introduce yourself 

Velhart: Hi there, my name is Josh the CEO of Avalon Play.

MudMaNia-: since many of our viewers didn't know yet what is avalonplay, Can you tell us about this AvalonPlay?

Velhart: Alright I will gladly answer your question. Avalon Play is a social network for gamers, a website where users can share their gaming experience ranging from photos, videos, comments and livestreams. Avalon Play is also a place for users to interact with other gamers through profiles, guilds and not limited to groups. As a website who hold a global community of gamers, we promote friendship among players across the globe to share their memorable gaming experiences. We also hold events and tournaments from different types of games, one that is known of is Point Blank that we have recently launched in the Philippines. Since we are a fairly new company, we have room to grow and create a community where all gamers can call home. :)

MudMaNia-:  On my research AvalonPlay was just a guild before; can you tell us what does this guild all about?

Velhart: I believe you are talking about Avalon World Gaming. First of all I would like to clarify that Avalon Play is not Avalon World Gaming, well not entirely at least. Before Avalon Play came to be, I was the leader of a gaming community or also known as a guild called Avalon World Gaming. I've managed the guild/clan for about 3-4 years now and have been on it ever since. While on duty as the guild master of Avalon World Gaming my partner and I decided to create a seperate project. We wanted to create a place for gamers from all over the world to unite, interact and share gaming experiences with one another through different types of games. Since the Avalon World Gaming does not support such exclusivity, my partner and I decided to create a social network for gamers which is the Avalon Play that you know of now. Avalon World Gaming is still active and is being sponsored by Avalon Play. The reason being for keeping the name Avalon is the sentimental value of all the players that have contributed their time and effort to keep the guild running. The stronghold of a guild is only as strong as it's people running it, not just the leader. I hope this answers your question regarding the two Avalons. I'm sorry if it made any confusion, haha.

MudMaNia-:   Hahaha Yeah it really makes me confuse but I’m impress to know that you have this kind of guild/clan and it’s good to know that the member really supporting you until now.

MudMaNia-:  Can you elaborate more, being a gamer what made you decides to pursue and make it into a social network?

Velhart: Well to start off to that question, my partner and I have played multiple MMORPG's throughout the years. Our first MMO was actually Ragnarok Online and even there we created our own guild. During one of our ventures in the MMO community we decided that we wanted to contribute something to the gaming world, and so it seems that a social network would be a great place to start.

MudMaNia-:  Did avalonplay already supported any events or tournament in past?

Velhart:  We actually recently opened our tournaments and events section on Avalon Play. I would like to name and thank Alvin Rillera for making this happen, he is our Head Events Coordinator in Avalon Play. Also I would like to thanks our event staffs and affiliations for being abundantly supportive of the project. Aside from that being, we actually sponsored a concert before hand by a Filipino jazz singer, Charmaine Clamor, here in Arizona - United States.

  MudMaNia-:  Base on my observation AvalonPlay is a realm for gamers and most probably this will be the Arena for our gamers, and just recently avalonplay hosted one online tournament for FPS Community which is Point blank.  How it goes right now? Can you give us insight of the on-going event?

Velhart: Well at the moment everything is going as planned, we have discussed all the mechanics and plans for our PB tournament division with our Avalon Play staffs and E-Games representatives. Our head events coordinator is actually handling the current event and I am well aware that he is doing an excellent job doing so. I know that the teams that are being favored are advancing to the next round, and as the tournament continues it gets more exciting for our viewers.
